We delivered 10 M+ ad impressions globally that contained light animation during the testing period, which was three months. During that time, there were 0 ad reports from users that these ads were distracting or intrusive. — Rosie ♦2 mins ago
i don't like using that as reasoning, given how difficult it is even to report an ad
you have to take a screenshot of it, which you can't do while reporting the ad so you have to cancel the report, take a screenshot, save it somewhere, modify it so it's small enough to be accepted iwth the report, then open the report process again
nobody's got time for that
mightaswell open a meta post instead with that much effort
