When you're lurking in the transcript you don't appear in the current users list. I was just doing a search for stuff I said to EmmaBee. On mobile, it's a lot easier to do a search from the live chat than from the transcript.

@ShadowWizzard Bitrex can be tasted at 0.01 ppm and is generally unbearably bitter at 10 ppm for most humans. So in normal use, you're unlikely to ingest enough to experience irritation.

It certainly cured me of nail biting, at the age of 9 or 10. It only took 3 or 4 weeks. By the end, I'd actually grown to like the taste. :)

I guess that sounds a bit paradoxical. But I think it works because the strong taste makes you conscious that you're biting your nails. So it helps you break the cycle of just mindlessly chewing on your nails.

Unfortunately, SawStart is one-use-only. Once started, the blade cannot be stopped, and must be replaced with a fresh blade while the running one is carefully disposed of.

In many countries (including Australia), bitrex is used as the adulterant in "methylated spirits". In the bad old days, they used methanol as the adulterant, hence the name. But a few decades ago we decided that it was a bit inhumane to poison metho drinkers with a toxic agent as horrible as methanol.

If you were experiencing issues with the survey banner reappearing it seems to be fixed now (at least on my machine/phone...famous last words). You may need to dismiss it one more time for it to stick. This is still cookie based so it is domain and device specific
