Benicio has been open about how becoming a dad changed the way he operates as a public figure.

Benicio and Kimberly welcomed their daughter, Delilah Genoveva Stewart Del Toro, on Aug. 21, 2011, which just so happened to also be her mom’s birthday. Rod was the first to publicly announce his granddaughter’s moniker in an interview withUSA Today, during which he sang the name Delilah.

“I’m a grandfather now,” he told the outlet, perE! News.“I’ve been going around blabbing that out for hours now.”

Delilah is thefirst grandchildof Grammy award-winning singer Rod Stewart, who shares Kimberly with his ex-wife,Alana Stewart. The music legend has embraced his role as grandpa, even helping Delilahcomplete a dioramafor a school project in 2023.

Benicio joked in a 2015 interview withPortabout how he and the iconic musician are competitive when it comes to impressing Delilah. “I might pull the Oscar out to show to my daughter,” he said. “Grandpa has a lot of stuff, but he ain’t got one of those.”

She inherited her mom’s organizational skills

Though she started her career as a model and actress in series likePacific Blue, Kimberly found her calling as a celebrity closet organizer. Shelaunched her organizing company, The Realm, in 2021 after spending the previous year cleaning and rearranging her dad’s home while in COVID-19 lockdown.

Kimberly told PEOPLE that her daughter definitely shares her knack for organization, but has trouble letting things go.

“Delilah sometimes will wear a favorite article of clothing until it is two sizes too small, at which point mama steps in," she told PEOPLE in 2021. “I like to keep it simple for kids when they are at the age where they dress themselves. I have everything for Delilah in categories like play clothes, school clothes, dress up, etc.”

Benicio thinks she’ll become a teacher

When it comes to his daughter’s future career, Benico has a few ideas. In 2015, theReptileactor toldE! Newsthat even though all kids have the “acting gene,” he could see Delilah becoming a teacher.

While that may be true, Delilah is no stranger to the spotlight. Kimberly has shared a few Instagram videosfeaturing her daughterperforming in plays and displaying the kind of stage presence that would make her rockstar grandpa proud.

She loves to travel

By the time she reached her 12th birthday, Delilah was already very well-traveled. She’svisited Buckingham Palacein London,explored the beachesof Hawaii andstrolled around Spainwith her mother.

Occasionally, her grandfather will join in on her travels. Rod attended a 2019family trip to Lisbon, Portugaland Delilah got todance backstageduring one of his shows while he was on tour in 2017.

Kimberly said she’s “very opinionated”

In a 2015 interview withNews.com, Kimberly said that Delilah isn’t afraid to let her opinions be known — especially when it comes to her mom’s clothes.

“Even at the ripe old age of 4 she’s like, ‘Mum are you gonna wear that?’ ” Kimberly told the Australian news outlet. “She’s very opinionated when it comes to fashion. She’ll just look at me sometimes … and I just know that I’m wearing the wrong shoes or something.”
