Describe the solution you'd like

When using the calendar component, the weekly view shows the date as something like 23-27 Oct 2023. However, I would prefer to just have it say "October" or to be able to change the format of it entirely. I would also like to be able to disable certain views like "list" or enable certain views.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried using custom javascript but the process was cumbersome.
