SHOUTOUT TO @user430580 for the profile pic hehehehe
A journey of almost 2 months here has been exciting to say the least. I met so many cool people here, I am mentioning names alphabetically, so that no one gets offended XD - BuckThorn, Buttonwood, Martin, MathewMahindaratne, Mithoron, NilayGhosh, OscarLanzi, Poutnik, user55119, and just so many more, the list hopefully should never end! ^^
Wait, why am I saying this all of a sudden? Because, I am taking a looong break of almost 2 years now- yeah studies! And I just hope that all the newcomers to this site respect people's opinions and make this site a better place! And, thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to me in some or the other way- YOU GUYS MEAN A LOT TO ME !
Some of my top comments? (LOL)
- The quote you used was from any source or did you just quote it yourself? If the former, please add the name of the source.
- Carbon can never be sp3d hybridized.
- Epoxides are....strained rings?
- Since cubane isn't an olefin, all the unsaturation comes from rings. The degree of unsaturation is (2⋅8+2−8)/2=5, and hence the number of rings is also 5. The number of cuts by scissors is effectively the exact same thing.
Only a few questions of mine remain unanswered, the rest are and they have helped me a lot during my chemistry journey, I hope, I embrace chemistry as a part of my career too, but that is undecided.
